- Is part of the cutting line
- It is used to affix the stone semi-products onto the pins for the cutting of the lower side of the stones. Hot-melt adhesive (glue) consisting of a mixture of natural resins is used to affix the semi-products onto the small metal rods (pins).
- The adhesive is dosed onto the preheated end of the pins as a powder and it firmly affixes the semi-product after cooling.
- When reheated, this mixture goes soft and the semi-products can be freely removed.
- The heating is realised directly using an open flame from a gas burner operated by the operator either by means of a manual valve or an electronic valve using the buttons on the panel.
